Vokalisti Kadi Vijalla on taito tehdä musiikistaan omaperäistä ja ainutlaatuista. Hänen tuorein levynsä Tiny Hands Gathering Wonder, The World Becomes Magic on hieno näkökulma vanhemmuuteen musiikin kautta. Loistelias levy ei jäänyt ilman virallistakaan huomiota: levy sai Jazz-Emman vuoden kotimaisena jazz-albumina. Jo aiemmilta We Jazz -festivaaleilta tuttuun tapaan syksyn tapahtumassa kuullaan kaikenikäisille sopiva lastenkonsertti, joka toimii samalla joulukuun alun tapahtuman ennakkona. Tapahtuman kellonaika tarkentuu pian.

Kadi Vija has a long background in vocal jazz improvisation and defines herself primarily as a vocal instrumentalist. Vija’s music explores sounds from modernism, jazz and electronics, as well as a deep fascination with rhythmic variety. Her latest album, Tiny Hands Gathering Wonder, The World Becomes Magic (Mustik Motel Music), is a vibrant narrative journey through the rhythms of rainbow family life. Inspired by her experience as a social parent, Kadi explores love, friendship, and the everyday magic of connection beyond traditional roles. Väreet begins early with a Children’s event, familiar to those attending the earlier editions of We Jazz festival, where listeners of all ages are welcome. The set times will be announced soon.
