Senegalilainen multi-instrumentalisti Dùdu Koyate ja kosketinsoittaja-säveltäjä Dan Nicholls tuovat uuden duokokoonpanonsa Helsinkiin. Koyate on tunnustettu tekijä, jonka musiikki inspiroi kaikissa yhteyksissä, ja Nicholls puolestaan on We Jazzin seuraajille tuttu Y-OTIS-liveyhtyeestä ja vuoden 2021 rajoja rikkovasta sooloalbumistaan Mattering and Meaning.
Senegalese multi-intsrumentalist Dùdu Koyate and keyboardist-composer Dan Nicholls present their duo at Väreet. Koyate’s never-ending search for new sound worlds has led him into various musical directions and here, he joins forces with Dan Nicholls, who followers of We Jazz will know from the Y-OTIS live band and also from his own boundary-pushing release Mattering and Meaning (We Jazz Records, 2021).
